Starbucks - Cambridge

This is one of my go-to stops when I drive from West OC to Baltimore for my doctor appointments. The coffee helps me stay alert during the drive, and I often grab a bite to eat as well. I'm really glad it's conveniently located, making it easy to pull off and back onto Route 50. Food rating: 4/5.

What’s not to love about this place? It’s clean, the staff is fantastic, and the coffee is excellent. Food: 5/5.

I visited the drive-thru on Thursday morning. Although the line looked long, it moved quickly. The person taking my order convinced me to get an extra shot of espresso, which I really needed. I was greeted with a smile from a redhead (I think her name was Amanda?). My drink was delicious, and my breakfast was served hot. Thank you! I’ll definitely stop by again when I travel along Route 50.

I placed a mobile order for a simple drink. The drive-thru line was quite long, but inside the store, there were no customers. The cold bar was busy, but nothing was happening on the espresso side. When my drink was finally ready, I was excited! Unfortunately, my no-foam skinny vanilla latte was made with brown sugar syrup instead of the sugar-free vanilla I requested. To make matters worse, there was still an inch less milk, which I could have overlooked, but the wrong syrup is just unacceptable! The syrups don't even look alike! Just to be clear, I am currently a partner here.

The sandwich was a bit too salty for my liking, but I really enjoyed both coffees. Unfortunately, the muffin lacked flavor. Moving forward, I think I’ll just go to Starbucks for my coffee.
