Jose's Mexican - Cambridge

A heartfelt goodbye to José's! Due to a real estate deal, you have to close your doors, and we will truly miss you. We hope you can return to Cambridge very soon!

The restaurant will be closing at the end of this month, so I had to make sure to stop by for one last visit.

We were delighted to be greeted by Carlos, the owner, at the door, who personally escorted us to our table. It felt like a reassuring sign that the pandemic is nearly behind us. Carlos and his team were incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was outstanding. With this newfound sense of freedom, we can’t wait to return to Jose’s very soon.

Service was a little slow, but that was understandable given the post pandemic situation.

Food was amazing and the margaritas were delicious. Taking one star off because we had reserved and outdoor table and when we arrived we were told that they don’t take reservations for outside seating and wouldn’t honor it. That was annoying since it clearly stated in the open table app that the reservation was for an outdoor table.
