Harvest - Cambridge

Never disappointed when we go to Harvest. Over the years the kitchen and chefs have produced interesting plates with subtle flavors. I especially like their soups but did not have one this time due to the hot weather instead opting for oysters and scallops.

Stuffy place with the average age of the patrons pushing 60. Food was poorly executed and the kitchen couldn't put out an over easy egg to save themselves. The fried chicken was overcooked and served off the bone. The side of bacon was burnt. The servers were more interested in chatting with each other and service provided was cold and lackluster. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

We were celebrating my BD , the 4 of us. Had drinks before bartender very pleasant. The Hostess sat us in the larger quieter room once she realized I had hearing issues , we appreciated this act of kindness so much . Nice choice of cocktails and wine. We ordered 2 orders shrimp cocktail for our appetizer and plenty for 4. Our dinners of sausage gnocchi and salmon did not disappoint . My BC with a candle was a bonus. Lovely dinner and evening enjoyed. Your staff are professional and approachable.

Very different from past years experience at Harvest. First second courses delivered at the same time. And the soup I ordered was not good at all. What's happened there?

You'll never be disappointed at The Harvest. Menu choices are inventive and palate pleasing. Service is helpful and friendly. I can't say enough about how much I love this restaurant!
