Contribuiți la feedbackPoor service with the exception of the wine sommelier. Server was impatient and refused to give food recommendations because he doesn't know us. Food was just ok, nothing special. Ambience was ok. Won't be going back again.
Giulia is a gem! The food is inventive, fresh, tasty and out of the ordinary. The atmosphere is relaxed but also special. Service is unpretentious and attentive. We recommend it highly! Our only hesitation about recommending it is that it will become even harder to get a reservation!
We had a wonderful meal. We were very early for our reservation, and luckily were able to sit at the bar. They serve a full meal there so we had the full experience. The oysters were delicious, and we had the chance to try three different pastas. I don't know which one was better, bucattini with amatriciana sauce could well have been my fave. The cookies for dessert were special. Really recommend this place! (Do make a reservation, seems it is always full)
The service was impeccable, the drinks innovative and well-paired, and the food was of course delicious! You obviously pay a higher price point for the experience, but I think it's absolutely worth it!
Our family (me, my husband, our adult daughter and adult son) had dinner at Giulia last night to celebrate our son's birthday. It's one of his favorite restaurants and bars, so we were happy to get a reservation because it's often fully booked even a week ahead, which is when I called to reserve a table for us. It was, indeed, very busy, so our table wasn't ready until about 10 minutes after our reservation time (which was for 8:30). The food and drinks were all quite good, but we had 3 different servers, one of whom kept forgetting about our orders. When I made the reservation, I noted that we would be celebrating our son's birthday, and when we checked in the person at the check-in desk mentioned that and asked what his name is. By the time our desserts were served most of the people who had been eating at other tables had left. People at 2 tables were celebrating birthdays, and they were sung Happy Birthday when the desserts were served. However, no one sang happy birthday to our son. That wasn't a big deal for us because he wasn't expecting it to be sung to him. However, I was a bit disappointed that his birthday wasn't recognized. Our son did enjoy all the food and drinks he ordered, which was the important thing and made me happy.
