The Panton Arms - Cambridge

We made a lunch reservation without knowing what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the interesting menu, delicious food, and generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

Friendly, relaxed pub with plenty of seating in both bars and outside. Live Irish traditional music on a Thursday evening. Decent food, with some vegetarian options and a choice of beers at the taps. It can get a bit busy when groups of work colleagues arrive and tourists find the place, which is just off the beaten track. The service is good and makes for a welcoming atmosphere. A favourite place to chill just off the city centre!

The food at this restaurant is excellent, they offer a variety of snacks and burgers, but we particularly enjoyed their main courses during our visit to a pub in East Anglia. The staff are friendly, cheerful, and accommodating. The atmosphere in the pub is great, despite its size. We definitely plan on dining here again when we're in Cambridge. They also have a good selection of beer available.

Gang of six old friends visited for an evening meal on Friday. It's a spacious old town pub with a great atmosphere. The service we received throughout our stay was excellent cheerful, cheeky and attentive without being overbearing. The pub offers a nice mix of beers, and the food starters and main course was hot and tasty. All of us were very pleased that we had given the place a try. Our only, huge, question mark is why does this venue have such a low Tripadvisor Cambridge rating? We wondered if it is affected by some past reviews in the days before the present landlord took over. It deserves better!

Lovely and lively pub, nice staff. Both of us had the burgers which were well cooked, nice salad and coleslaw. Small menu choice but well cooked.
