My wife and I booked The Chequers for our birthday party because it's conveniently located near us, dog-friendly, and had excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! We had a lovely evening with wonderful staff who were friendly and attentive. The food we ordered was beautifully presented and of high quality.

Dining at The Chequers is always a delightful experience. We each enjoyed three courses, and every dish was not only visually stunning but also delicious. The service was warm and efficient, and the spacing between tables ensured we didn’t feel crowded, allowing us to truly enjoy the inviting atmosphere. A special shoutout to the chef; we’re grateful to have such talent in our local area. Although it’s not the cheapest pub meal around, you definitely get what you pay for, and it’s truly worth every penny.

We dine here regularly, and the service is always friendly. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes that are beautifully presented. On this occasion, I had the duck, and it was exquisite.
