The Castle Inn - Cambridge

Excellent small pub in cambridge, right outside the city center with a great selection of stout ... nice barkeeper who works in the afternoon called dusty. outdoor terrace for applications if it does not rain! lol

The castle is a good cambridge pub with an excellent selection of behave, reasonable eating and friendly service. the beer on the tap are of adnams, the South-Woldian brewery. they have tables in the back garden, which for a good setting if the weather obliges. for those of us who like beer, drink a prise southwold bitter in the garden at a warm summer day is a perfect timevert.

On recommendation of a friend who previously studied in cambridge and lived close to, were my man and I for another selection of beer on hahn (instead of the usual greene king). we tried a little darker adnams portier on tap and were very happy for something richer than the usual pub album. we were surprised to see a tonne food available on chalkboard menus, all made in the house. this was just a afternoon snack for us, so we share a bacon, brie and mushroom bap, but it was amazing with a seemingly freshly baked weizen beans, fresh salad, melty cheese, hearty mushroom and crispy speck a big part and super cheap for under four pfunds. the size of the pub is much bigger than the other cozy ones we visited like the elm tree and free press, with different rooms and several stands for toilets, but still a feeling of cozyness in each room would come back if we had more time on our trip!

Wow! this is my favorite night spot in whole cambridge! the owners and the staff have created a beautiful space that is perfect for relaxing and entertaining. the selection of the beer is top notch and the pints are graciously poured into every hour to perfection. the beer garden is beautiful - just now in summer! I can not recommend the pints, eat and cozy room enough! they put this place on their must today!

Well its primarily an Adnams pub but with guests . You will like the place . Its full of nice places to sit and chat or read the paper . Furniture outs oldy tables , decor painted plaster and stripped varnished wood floors . Very relaxed . I like it .
