They have the best beer, the best pizza, and the best vegan ice cream. It’s friendly and each time I’ve been there the sun was shining. What more do you need to know?

Amazing venue, inclusive and safe, very friendly staff and everyone is just so pleasant and easy to talk to. Drag nights are so much fun and entertaining, talented bunch of folks. The ultimate pepperoni pizza is SO tasty! Definitely a must try, best pizza ever!

Wanted to do the quiz and have something to eat, It’s not just that they have no phone. It’s that when you turn up an hour before the quiz they take great delight in telling you they don’t want one (a phone . And the irony that are they really going to ask ONE person to leave when the quiz starts? It’s the arrogance that I find upsetting. It doesn’t make the world better. Gloating entitlement (Probably misplaced may be good business in the short term. So is slavery. Doesn’t make it right.

The Blue Moon is absolutely the best pub in Cambridge; the staff are incredible and always so attentive and make sure they check in on you. The beer selection is unsurpassed by anywhere else in the city, or even the county, with tap takeovers every month from different breweries. The live events in the back bar are always so varied and interesting, and they cater for people in Cambridge that aren't catered for elsewhere. It's a true safe space for everyone, and I always feel welcomed and appreciated in the Moon. If you haven't been in yet, what are you doing?!

This place has been a revelation over last year or two. During the pandemic they moved benches outside into the carpark and with the brewery takeovers and beer selection changing every week, they're unmatched locally by anywhere aside from perhaps the Pint Shop. The pub is not in the most beautiful area of Cambridge but: who cares. A warm welcome, friendly staff, great pizza at the weekends from Oscar's Lockdown Pizza and the best beers going.
