A beautiful little spot to have a really nice dinner at. The filet mignon I got was like butter. The staff was great, we made a reservation thinking it was here but apparently at another place, and they sat us right away. The lobster was the best we've ever had actually and will definitely be back. Well done The Sow's Ear

Lucky me, a table was available the evening of my arrival. I had missed aquiring a reservation for The Sows Ear a while back, on a weekend getaway with my hubby, so although traveling solo, I was elated to be their guest. I suppose the charm of their name tickled my fancy, but I have been aware of their reputation for putting out a decent plate, and I 'm a fan of tablecloths and cozy dining! Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by the hosts, as well as the warm smell of fresh baked bread wafting from the kitchen. They had me at fresh baked! I was greeted warmly and seated at a perfect 2Top, with a sweet view of the ndoor dining room and the outdoor patio dining through the charming porcine porcelain art filled bay window. My disappointment at traveling alone...gone! Menus delivered and perused, I spotted my quarry. Not Porky pig, but Mary 's sidekick. The Rack please.

Reviews seem to be all over the page, I enjoyed my meal and experience very much. We had an early reservation 5:30 on a Monday, so not overly busy. Our waiter (Carlos) was friendly and attentive. I started with house salad with basil vinaigrette dressing. I forgot to request dressing on the side, but it didn't matter as it was lightly dressed. My meal was grilled chicken breast with peach glaze and wild rice. The chicken was moist and not drowned in the sauce, it was very good. The mixed vegetables were fresh, soft, and crunchy, perfectly cooked. Finished with Creme Brulee for dessert. Good meal, and atmosphere, we will be back the next time we visit Cambria.

We stopped in last night on our trip to Cambria. Our meals were absolutely delicious. The salad and bread (that comes with the meal) was a great start to an even better meal. I had the filet mignon and it was just amazing and cooked to perfection. My husband had the pork chop and loved his as well. We would definitely come back to visit just to hit this local gem again.
