Applebee's Grill - Camarillo

Veterans day, enjoyed double crunch shrimp and spinach artichoke dip. As a USAirForce vet the shrimp was compliments of Applebee's, they honor America's vets on this day, thank you!

I only had one issue otherwise they'd get 5 stars. I ordered to go and the food was ready when I got there. Food was good, nothing was missing and the alcohol drinks were good and strong and they were only $5!! My issue was what happened when the manager (I think that's who it was) went to help the server pack up my last drink. She was on the phone before going to help in the bar and she put her phone down and grabbed the cup to finish the drink. She did not wash her hands before. I felt she should've because 1.the Rona so I thought that was the procedure and 2.I thought working in a restaurant you're supposed to wash your hands before you start handling food or drinks. Also while making the drink she continued to check her phone intermittently. I know I'm licking the outside of the cup and that she had any germs to pass but its just a precaution that's easy to do and prevents a lot of possible transfer of anything to me, other customers or anyone handling items she may have handled first.

Applebeec is my favorite dining place on Venture the food is excellent an the customer service is amazing the prices an good and there sangria is out of this world you must try it.

Melissa was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the menu, quick and super friendly! I wish they were all like her. And my quesadilla burger was a 1st for me 5 stars there too! Great job all around
