Cabo Girao Cafe - Câmara de Lobos

. . . we needed bottles of water. There was minimal contact with staff. I wouldn't choose to eat here as the place was strangely empty when the surroundings were packed with people. There was nothing to encourage anyone to go in.

A good spot and on a clear day the view is good. We only had coffee but the food and ice creams looked very nice.

We were staying nearby and had lunch here three times. The menu is limited but the fresh quiche is fabulous and the views are breathtaking. The price was also very reasonable given the location. Great looking cakes and sandwiches too. Savoury food comes served with a simple but lovely fresh side salad. Thoroughly recommend it

Visited the viewing platform and had a coffee and cake at the cafe. Nice outside seating area and good coffee and cakes. The viewing platform is definitely worth a visit although if you dont like heights avoid the glass floor where you can see down to the sea several hundred metres below!

Fantastic viewing platform, well worth the short walk up from HPB Cabo Girao for a look down through the glass, slightly scary at first seeing your feet sort of over nothing, but once the head accepts it, the view is amazing, as it is from the platform when not looking at your feet! Coffee and staff at the little cafe are superb, cash only though, but there is an ATM inside.
