U Pinu - Calvi

We stopped in here twice, once just for cocktails (which were quite good), and the second time for lunch, for which we had a wonderful lamb shank and some melon with prosciutto. Nice selection of affordable Corsican wines, good service, and fantastic views overlooking Calvi...beach and the walled citadel of Calvi in the distance. We also rented chairs and umbrellas for the day at the beach for very reasonable prices, and they had drink service on the beach. Would definitely return!

The food arrived fast, but it was not tasty. Half of the burger was burned and the other half was not cooked. Unfortunately the pasta with seafood arrived with cheese (did not fit at all) and a lot of cream. We ordered tab water and...received a bottle for euros. At least it was possible to pay by card.

Rather overpriced menu, with very average food. It's position on the beach is probably the cause of its overinflated opinion of itself

We stayed in Calvi for four days and visited this restaurant on the beach on two occasions.We hired chairs on the beach and had lunch at the restaurant on the second day. When you lunch at the restaurant there is a discount on the beach chairs of 10 euros.We had simple salads which were very generous portions and very reasonably priced.The staff are very efficient and pleasant and if you just want a drink they will still accommodate you.Very pleasant experience

Our friend booked lounges here for the day during "Calvi On The Rocks" festival. It was all chill in the morning but by the time we left at 1600, it was a full on party / rave situation!Alls good as I like electronic music. My wife was not pleased at my eyes on the 20 something girls scantily clad. We ate lunch at U Pinu and the Calamari was fabulous as well as the Octopus. Service was great too.
