Riverhead Ciderhouse - Calverton

Incredible experience! The staff were friendly, the service was prompt, and the selection of delicious ciders, beers, and wines was impressive. I visited with some family who were in town, and we had a fantastic time. The venue is spacious, offering plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, including the impressive "Apple Shack" room, which features a separate bar and even more seating. They also have a variety of board games to play and cornhole outside. I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin beer with a cinnamon rim and the cinnamon toast cider! The pizzas, pretzels, and warm apple cider donuts were all delightful. I also appreciate their support for other local businesses in the gift shop. We will definitely be coming back!

We visited the restaurant specifically for the Cinnamon Toast cider, which we loved in the past for its sugar cinnamon rim. Unfortunately, this time it was just plain cinnamon, which was quite disappointing. The drink was only okay and didn't taste as good as it looked in the pictures. I hope it will be better on our next visit. It was also a bit pricey for something that was just average.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The drink options were very limited—only water or seltzer, which was surprising. The food left much to be desired; the pizza paired with seltzer was an odd combination, and the pretzels had an overpowering yeast flavor. Additionally, the floor was dirty, likely from a party the night before, and the staff seemed completely absent. I cannot recommend this place for families; it's not kid-friendly at all, and those who prefer standard food and drink should stay away. As the designated driver, I wasn’t influenced by alcohol, and I can confidently say that the meal wasn’t worth the $15 I paid for something that tasted so bad.

I absolutely love the Cedar House! I visited today with a few friends, and as always, we had a fantastic time. We played some games, enjoyed delicious food, and sipped on some amazing cedar beverages. The curtains provided a cozy atmosphere, and I discovered a couple of new favorite dishes. The decor here is charming, and they offer a variety of games to play as well. I always look forward to the guacamole and the pretzels—they're must-haves for me. It's the perfect spot to relax and spend a few enjoyable hours. Overall, no matter the season, the Cedar House is a wonderful place to enjoy with friends and family. I highly recommend it!
