Cast Iron Bistro - Calvert

This restaurant is permanently closed and is currently up for sale. It's a shame because the food and service were fantastic. I'm sorry to see it go.

We just stopped by for some cocktails and mussels. The cocktails were enjoyable, and the mussels were excellent. We also received fantastic service.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the chicken and dumplings were the best I've ever had. Did I mention how stunning the restaurant is? It was an amazing experience overall. The service was fantastic as well. Definitely worth the drive! I loved it and would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Is this place open still? Every time I go the doors are locked.

Charming spot in a delightful town. I tried the Bistro Burger, and it was incredible! It was a generous portion, perfect for sharing. I also enjoyed a cup of their soup of the day, which was a delicious potato and corn chowder. I considered ordering a second cup, but since I didn't share my burger, I had no room left. Next time I visit, I'll make sure to save space for dessert—they looked tempting! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
