Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped here to stock up for a weekend stay. The parking garage (free with purchase) was a huge bonus. The store was clean and we found everything we needed.
I work a few doors down so I often find myself in here buying things I don 't necessarily need. The P street location definitely has a better wine selection, but this five star review is because of the customer service. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things after I got off, and low and behold everyone is shopping because of the COVID-19 pandemic . I really wanted collards and kimchi so I stopped by for all the accoutrements. I had found everything except the most important ingredient: KIMCHI. I tapped on the door and politely asked if they had any in the back and low and behold a nice young gentleman came out with a box full! I am so grateful for him even checking considering every person (the customers) was very rude and inconsiderate and I 'm sure they were all ready to go home. Thank you, kind sir. You saved me from going to another crowded store full of people!
First time at this Whole Foods, and not likely to go out of my way to return. The pluses are that it is quite large so two carts can comfortably be in the same aisle. Also they have a parking garage (enter on 6th) although we got a street space before we learned that. Having been to lots of WFs in many states we found this one lacking. The worst part was the meat department. Okay, they didn 't have ham. We 're 44 days out from Easter. But in addition the bacon choices were clearly decided by the kind of person who only uses bacon as a 'seasoning. ' And we decided on beef ribs but there were only two packs of four and no more in the back. And, we spoke to two staff in the department and they acted like they weren 't sure ham or beef ribs were a real thing. The dairy case was also lacking with only small containers of half and half, for example. Most of the staff we encountered seemed rather apathetic except for the young woman who told us the OJ juicing machine was broken and the woman who checked us out in the express lane which we went to even though we had more than 12 items because there was only one regular register open. And it had a line. Still a Whole Foods is a Whole Foods and better than nothing. All in all, I 'd try to go elsewhere.l
I used to love shopping at Whole Foods. It had the most beautiful fruits and vegetables, carried the highest quality brands, and ensured that all food was fresh. But it continues to go downhill. It's typically out of standard fruits and vegetables, like avocados and all lettuce. And it's carrying fewer and fewer high quality brands and continues to replace all options with its own 365 day brand. Yesterday, all Organic Valley sliced cheese had been replaced with the 365 day brand. Last week I almost purchased chicken thighs that had gone bad. Luckily the cashier noticed the rancid smell.
Americano is unexpectedly excellent! Whole Foods Allegro seem to care about black coffee espresso ??
