Union Kitchen Eckington

Food is ok, service is mid. There’s no one you can call to speak with in the event of a discrepancy. The stores do not have a phone number. The only number that Union Kitchen has will basically have you leave a voice message. No help chat bot or anything on the website… it’s 2024.

Great cafe and small grocery store, I usually order coffee or lunch at the counter plus a baked good. The cookies and Bethlehem bar are so delicious! They have fantastic costumer service, everyone is friendly and helpful. Great alcohol selection that includes all the local breweries, I particularly love the cider and wine options.

Great food, great service, great music, friendly staff, great vibes.

I love coming here to grab a sandwich and get some work done. Seating area has power outlets and is laptop friendly. My lattes always come out perfect, and I looove to support local brands and this place has plenty. The staff always greets me at the door and I am in love with the Thai chicken soup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Vegetarian options: Breakfast, Soup, salad, and sandwhich options all available vegetarian style.

Happened along Union Kitchen in Eckington today and what a great find! Ty made me the best Italian sub I’ve had anywhere in DC I will be coming back! Dom and Monica were super nice. This place has a little bit of everything including gourmet type drinks and snacks. Can’t wait to go back.One weird thing is there is no way to tip when paying with a credit card. Thankfully I had some cash on me.
