Everything about this place is awesome. The staff, the food and the drinks are fantastic!

I am very displeased with the way I was treated. I came today to get a horchata, I stood at the counter and wait for someone to come out, once he did, I told him my order he then proceeded to tell me to hold on. I was left standing there while both servers walked back and forth and said nothing. The lady came by and asked what I wanted I asked for the same thing she told me to hold on. The two servers continued to walk past me bringing new people menus etc. I stood there like a fool! Finally, the lady came back with her tablet and walked to a white guy sitting at the restaurant bar and took his preset instead. If you’re going to come to a predominantly black city and treat your customers of color like trash then don’t run a business. These businesses in DC figure that the presence of white people mean more so they will always be served before us or pleased more. I am not surprised but I won’t be a customer here ever again I’ll take my business elsewhere

I went into taco City on Thursday May 16,2024 I experienced extremely racist as a African American who attends National community Church. There was a lady with glasses and a gentleman who was at the cash register, I wanted to place an order but they both kept looking over me serving other customers who were white customers. I will never come there ever again and I did tell my black brothers and sisters what happened.

Lovely place with great food and reasonable price. Remember that the tacos are on the smaller side but the taste is heavenly.
