Contribuiți la feedback2nd time same week and brought a new friend who loved it too! During summer, there 's a 2nd floor that 's open Fri/sat. Be sure to ask for DANIEL who is one of the best bartender/waiters I 've ever had! Very accommodating, approachable and knows how to practice hospitality like a pro Makes the experience personalized so you feel known and welcomed Again- great overall experience for $30pp There was free street parking after 630pm this Fri night Sampler is fun for party vibe Very tender chicken pork sticks If u don 't know what to get and have TMJ issues, I recommend those! DANIEL even gave us individual sauce to-go cups upon request!!!! Of note- yelp times r wrong. They r open til 11pm some nights. Also- feel free to call for reservations even tho website may say no The staff have been very accommodating this past week w same-day requests
The family enterprise that brought us Bandoola Bowl down the road and Mandalay (now dearly departed) before that continues to grow, and this place is different than anything else around. Clearly a vegetarian like myself is not the target audience, but they do have some clearly marked and interesting options for vegetables and tofu. I am an okra fan and it's an underutilized vegetable. The skewers here were covered in spicy powder and came with a sweeter dipping sauce and were neither undercooked nor overly mushy. The centerpiece tofu dish I got had a few pieces of tofu and a mild coconut curry sauce with a little rice on the side. Somewhere in there I got a side salad of shredded cabbage as well. I ordered a tea, which was a bottled oolong, albeit a good quality one. I liked the flavors, though not as much as at their other restaurants. I was surprised I didn't get the chance to sample more of the numerous sauces they had listed; I guess you have to ask. It was a modest portion size for the price, though given the neighborhood, I doubt it's out of line. I saw more worth trying, but I'm likely to be back at Bandoola first.
I was really looking forward to trying this place; however it wasn't as good as I hoped. I got a soda and they originally only gave me the glass bottle, so I drank out of it. Turns out the glass had broken on the top and I almost drank glass. I brought it to their attention and they replaced the bottle. The tom yum soup was sweeter than I'm used to and it included three shrimp and it was 7 dollars. The main course was lukewarm and included two pieces of meat. The rice was congealed together at the center and it was 18 dollars. A bit overpriced for what you ended up getting because all if that cost me 40 dollars after tip. I brought all of this to the staff attention and they didn't do anything.
Such a beautiful and tasty place. Honestly after getting cancelled we ended up going here and I swear best decision. The chicken gyoza I highly recommend!!!!!Then I had the beef teriyaki soooooo freaking tender it just melts in ya mouth....the soup was spicy good wit tons of fresh mushroom n shrimp.....Definitely get the asparagus to share for 2.....When I visit I'm soooo coming back again.....I believe the owner was at the restaurant and if so he was such a pleasure and so sweet even the bartender was a sweetheart....The wine bar upstairs is a must!!!!
First thing is the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly and excited that you came to eat at their restaurant. This excitement showed when they were explaining the menu. The food was pretty good, there are a lot of options when it comes to the kabob style samples. I forgot to take a picture but the ice cream bars are a very good dessert.
