Ps 7's - Calumet-Norvelt

What a delight! The creative menu is truly unique, with "American" being the closest label one could use. The appetizer selection is particularly impressive; the tuna tartare mini-burgers practically melted in my mouth, and the unexpected yet delightful watermelon soup really stood out. While the menu leans a bit towards seafood, everything I tried was exceptional. My King Salmon was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the melon balls. I was also very pleased with the White Trout and Scallops. The veal wasn’t to my taste, but the accompanying sweetbreads were fantastic. The service was excellent, even amidst the bustling chaos of Restaurant Week. However, I found the alcohol prices to be somewhat high for D.C. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.
