Proper 21 K Street - Calumet-Norvelt

Very tasty brunch food! It was a very quiet brunch day (cold and rainy outside), so I imagine people didn't want to venture outside. We all had good mimosas, and I loved the tres leches French toast.

A groups of girlfriends gathered for Sunday brunch, while we cheered for our respective NFL teams. Everyone enjoyed our food, and the service was good, despite a few lulls between shifts. Wish there was unlimited mimosas, but there was a bottle option that was good enough. We will definitely be back.

Upscale sports bar/restaurant. We had a late dinner and the place was not crowded. Food was good but service was not. Our waitress kept disappearing, so we had to leave our table several times to ask both the hostess and bartender for help.

The server was very nice. But one suggestion for better customer service to increase your profits: servers should always ask or suggest appetizers dessert! Our server gave us the check without asking if any of us wanted dessert or even coffee! We had to flag her down so we could order 2 desserts 2 coffees. By the way, your churro waffle was amazing!

It was a very nice atmosphere but getting attention for service was work! They may have been understaffed. I enjoyed my shrimp and grits with belini. All in all it was ok.
