Kura Revolving Sushi - Calumet-Norvelt

I had always wanted to go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, and I decided to visit Kura. Their service is excellent and the quality of their sushi is second to none I've ever had. I'd recommend the Toro nigiri, as it's so fatty it literally melts in your mouth. I don't know if any sushi will ever live up to it unless I go to Japan!

Definitely worth stopping by. Lots of sushi options, very convenient to the metro, and the food was great. I'll definitely be back! It's a very sanitary sushi train option and beginner friendly because the waitress will teach you how to open everything (she'll even let you practice! .And to my solo eaters/travelers, there's a section for individual chairs so don't let the line deter you, there's probably an open seat for you!

Came here on a Sunday night and first time it didn't have a huge line. We were able to walk Wright in and be seated the Sunday before Halloween. The reason I gave it a 3 was because the place was not very clean. The novelty is cool (though revolving sushi has been around in Asia for more than 2 decades). The interesting thing was that you can also order the same items via the screen and it would be made to order. The belt then delivers direct to you. Minimal interactions with the staff. Ultimately, I thought the sushi was good tasting except it was pricey as compared to traditional sushi restaurants. The variety was comparable to an avg sushi restaurant.

Literally the best place I have been to in a while. The staff, the food, and everything was great! It was my daughter’s birthday and they sung happy birthday to her and made her so happy! To everyone working on 11/22, thank you!! We will be back.

Solid fast food type sushi for Chinatown. Temper you expectation if you want high end sushi, this is a sushi on a conveyor belt. For that, the salmon sushi is very good. Lots of options. Ramen and other rice dishes also served. Solid 4 stars. Friendly staff and clean place.
