Jw Marriott Washington, Dc

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and the staff is great. Room service stops at 11pm and the restaurant closes so that's a little frustrating when you arrive late. The hotel has nice views. I didn't like that there was no electrical outlet near the desk. Other than that I like the room and we slept good.

Great location. 15 min ride to DCA. 5 min walk to the Mall. Walking distance to all major museums and landmarks, 10 20 minutes.Spacious rooms, comfy beds. However soundproofing is subpar.Great lounge with tremendous views. We really enjoyed having breakfast there.However there is nothing served midday. And the evening service is a bit disappointing while they have a decent bar setup, it's for a fee. When the room cost is $300 a night minimum, one free glass of wine would not put them out of business, don't you think?

2 things I think would increase my rating. 1- free basic internet regardless of being a bon voy member or not...... it is $13 a day to use basic internet unless you sign up for a bin voy membership. to charge a guest $50 to use internet after paying for a room I think is poor PR.2- need USB ports near the bed., or anywhere in room. Everyone uses USB ports to charge phones and tablets.otherwise, the rooms were clean, service is fantastic. The cleaning Stagg leave chocolates on the pillow evert day for you. nice touch

The location is great, with plenty of food and tourism options within walking distance. The bar/restaurant has a cool vibe, but limited menu options. The store/cafe is very convenient and has very tasty breakfast sandwiches, although it's way overpriced $10 for the sandwich, and another $10 for a pack of bandaids).I had to add a night to my reservation and had to switch rooms for the last night. Both were very clean with comfortable beds. One of them didn't have any kind of mirror besides the one above the sink you take this for granted until you need one), and neither had a hair dryer or a place to hang clothing. One room has very poor water pressure.The service was outstanding. I arrived 4 hours before check-in and had to work that day. I asked about using a public restroom to freshen up after my travel, but instead I was offered an early check-in to a room that happened to be ready. It was also very easy to make a last minute extension. I had to switch rooms, but I ly because my first room was handicap friendly and someone needed it.I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is beautiful and a perfect location for walking around to the museums as well as the monuments. Rooms are on the smaller side but well taken care of, clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have, is it's noisy. The windows don't seem to have any sound proofing and on a Friday night there was loud music playing until around 2am. Saturday wasn't as bad but you can here every car that drives by and if they have music playing its even worse. Overall if you are use to living on a noisy street or are able to play some white noise or something on your phone it won't bother you too much.
