Homemade Pizza Company

Staff is always excellent at Bluestone. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. My patty melt was superb, the fresh cut fries even better! One in our party had blackened salmon sandwich and enjoyed it, too.

5 stars! Bluestone was recommended to me as I was looking for a location near Northwestern to host a business lunch. I loved that I could book a reservation for 12 through Open Table and there no imposed minimums. Service was fantastic and the food was incredible—everyone raved. I had the Mediterranean Bowl with grilled shrimp and wow! I wholly recommend Bluestone will be back if I'm in the area again. Bravo!

After a recent dining experience which was only ok, I was given an opportunity by the owner to give the restaurant another try. It was better, for sure. I tried a couple of new items, the french onion soup and the blackened salmon sandwich. Both were very good. I like that the soup was available as a small upgrade charge to go with my sandwich. The food presentation wasn't good during my last experience, but was excellent this time around. Service was friendly, but not overbearing, which I appreciated. I will definitely be back.

The food wasn't as good as I had hoped. The nachos were very sloppily presented and just a huge mess. The thin crust pizza was pretty good. I am willing to try this place again and give it a second chance.
