My local coffee spot, love that is a quiet weekend spot for coffee with my partner. Good coffee, good pastries, great staff.

This place has the best coffee in the area, BY FAR! Some servers can be a bit grumpy but some are really warm too. Decent food as well!

Cameo is the best! Staff and management are friendly and food and drinks are always good.

I am reluctant to promote Cameo because I want to keep this gem of a cafe all to myself. BUT in the name of supporting local DC businesses, here I am. I've been coming here for years and it's become as regular a pit stop as the grocery store or Target. Best tea in the city. Actually delicious bakery items (versus generic, right out of a plastic wrapper croissants and muffins). The baristas are very good at what they do, especially Jordan, who is fast, crafty and has no time for your nonsense. Can't endorse this crew enough, or this space, which is tied to a much bigger food hall that also has delicious food offerings. I am SO glad Cameo is on Capitol Hill. Support them! But also, don't go there that much so I can get a seat!Kid friendliness: Very kid friendly. Kids run around here all the time as parents take a load off on the couches and at the tables.

One of my favorite shops in the city. Huge shoutout to Jordan, who almost always has my order ready before I even walk up to the counter. Cameo staff rock
