Andy's Pizza Shaw V St.

5 stars for food, but zero stars for the Door Dash delivery. I love this pizza and you can order delivery through the website, but the timing and quality of delivery usually sucks. We've waited over an hour once the pizza leaves the shop, just 15 minutes away. Last night, we had a pizza delivered by scooter in 40 degrees temps. The driver had no bag and the pizza was stone cold. It's great pizza but for the best experience, I recommend picking it up.

Hello, I just finished writing a review non yelp for Guy at Andy’s pizza and wanted you to see…Dec 3, 2023I cannot say enough about Andy's pizza. Their general manager Guy at the DC Shaw and V location is outstanding!!! Not only is their pizza absolutely delicious, their customer service and problem solving skills are 2nd to none. I was celebrating a big birthday this past Saturday night (12/2/23) and had been texting with their catering deptartment since we were a party of 30. When we showed up, unfortunately Guy had no record of us coming in. We were on a party bus with a schedule to adhere to and when this happened it could have become a big problem. I spoke to Guy and it was clear he felt horrible that he knew nothing about this. I was a bit concerned but he assured me that he would get the pizzas out to us in a few minutes...AND HE DID! My friends were raving about the pizza and I was so grateful to Guy for taking care of us. My friends are spreading the word about Andy's and we had an amazing night. Thanks Guy you're the best!

Pizza and service was good but the manager not so good. A guy at the last minute by the register cut in line with his friend and took my pizzas. I tried to say they were mine but the server insisted mine were coming out the oven. Once it got to my turn they realised what had happened when my order wasn’t coming out the oven. The cashier apologised and told me to wait as they tried to resolve the situation and get my order in the oven again. So I stood aside as he serviced others until mine came. The manager steps in haven’t heard anything and is yelling at the cashier for helping me and insisting I need to go to the end of the line. The cashier tries to explain and the manager wouldn’t listen just continuing to be rude to the cashier. The cashier was trying to right a wrong that was done and the manager handled it completely inappropriately. The way the manager treats employees and customers is terrible. The cashier had better customer service skills than the manager and handled the disrespect with grace. This is not an experience I want to come back to.

Busy with a bar vibe, loud music, lots of people. If dining in on busy night order slices instead of a full pie. Full pies can take 45-60 minutes to make it through the order cueKid-friendliness: Not so great for young kids at this location. It's too loud and crowded with a lot of people drinking.

Pizza is good but they clearly do not care about delivery. They just take whatever lukewarm slices they have on the counter and toss them haphazardly in a box. Fine for in store but avoid delivery.
