Harold's Chicken Calumet City

It's been a long time since I enjoyed some good Harolds. Chickens and frits were crispy and fresh, not saturated with mild sauce.

On the map this park seemed like a boring grass rectangle pushed into the mission district. It was so much better in person. The surrounding streets are steep and hilly, and so is the park. You can have a great view of the city and the bay above. Tip: Visit in the morning, it is much less crowded!

Came for the fried livers. Delicious. Crispy on the outside, creamy livers just the way I love them.Food: 5/5

I asked specifically for 6 wings fried extra hard. We just wasted our money completely because the food was not fried hard at all. We could not even fry it longer because we also asked for the sauce to be placed on the side and it is on the chicken. The fries are also not cooked at all.Food: 1/5

I went in the Saturday before Father's Day and ordered gizzards. I has the but if the bread in my order. I went today and complained and ordered gizzards again and asked to please not give me the but of the bread again and they did it again!There's only 2 bits in a loaf of bread! I specifically asked not to be given the but..May seem petty but I HATE the But end of a loaf of bread. Ridiculous!!! Who is the owner?
