Calliope Central Club

Wow just what Calliope needed. The chinese food was so fresh and delicious, can't wait to go back again, meals are very plentiful.

There was 8 of us which included 2 children the food came out quite quickly and there was plenty of it. You could choose from Chinese cuisine or traditional Aussie food. It was all very good with friendly service and staff. Overall good experience.

When passing through the bruce highway near Gladstone, go to calliope bowls club for lunch or for dinner... you also can enjoy a game of bowls also.. but the restaurant, is a touch of a la carte, but at country prices.. the meals are fabulous, and no matter which menu you choose, your plate is full.. all meat is to order, and cooked to your liking, I have never had a bad steak yet.. the seafood is also tops.. it doesn't matter what you ask the chef, she will serve you with absolutely a fine meal... the beer is cold, and the staff are so very friendly and make you feel welcome also..

Tried the garlic chicken and veggies tonight! top job!!

Awesome chinese. Finally some decent food out here.
