Contribuiți la feedbackWe had an amazing first stay in Villa Roma. Everyone was so friendly and our room was very comfortable. We were for Christmas weekend and enjoyed the festivities they had including Santa! My children loved the recreation room so many games. We all loved eating. My children are usually quite picky with food, but they enjoyed everything! Breakfast was my favorite. Don't forget to ask for Luiz, he was our favorite server! I would like to return for the snow activities and also for the summer fun.
We have visited Villa Roma several years for NewYears and unfortunately the resort has really gone downhill We had a timeshare of 2 bedrooms, which was clean and well equipped. The heating in the master bedroom was very loud, but you could leave the living room heating with the bedroom door open. The TV in the master didn't work all the time when we were there. We were told that part of Spectrum was needed that never showed up. Daily households are still offered and these women really try to go beyond and beyond. The van Service is fast and efficient. There are still the daily activities that have fun, but they seemed much more restricted this year. Doc and Steven J are great. The night entertainment was almost eliminated. In a holiday week there was a magician and a Motown group. Doc Joy praised the troops. Apart from that it was Bingo, sing with or games. We usually book the food package. The first night was total chaos. It took several attempts to get the starters right when we got the artichoke diving, could not find the flat bread and finally found some crackers. Next we got salads instead of the soup/pasta course. The gentleman of the other couple with whom we found a mistake that crumbled in his salad. My husband went to the manager right away. The assistant waiter took the record. The manager ran to him to see it and never came to us. No excuse, nothing. Next, our main courses were brought. We said we never got the soup paste course, so they took the main course. So far, both the soup and the penne vodka were ice cold. Then the most important courses were also ice-cold. The manager didn't even seem to get it when we canceled our remaining reservations as we left. New year we went to the clubhouse. It was a nice surprise to find the open bar, as we had said that this had been set. The people behind the bar were traceless and the wine, even if you paid for it, was unimaginable. We had let them know that a person in our group was vegetarian. There was no substitute for the shrimp cocktail that was actually excellent. The menu said the salad had apples and cranberries. It actually had nuts to which my husband is allergic. The vegetarian pasta pomodoro was actually meat sauce. The Italian vegetable tower was another platelet of Pasta. When we wanted to talk to the chef, her answer was an Italian place. Italians eat pasta. Yes, but not several courses at the same meal. The rest of us had surfing and lawn, which was good, but cold until it was served. We got dessert that was good, but never coffee or tea were offered. The DJ could have played a radio. No interaction. First New Years without Countdown. Suddenly he announced it in 2023. Also, Andre champagne as midnight toast- is there a little cheaper?
We were a little concerned about the bad reviews, but we had a great three-night stay in one of the timeshare condos in December 2022. The resort offers many fun activities for children. Our young children loved the magnificent houses, playrooms, daily activities and indoor pool. We had planned to go to the Skiberg, but not because there are too many other things to do. Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and are not picky about accommodation of chic accommodation (the place was very clean, but some areas dated, but we found this charming). We hope to come back, maybe next time in summer, because the outdoor pool and activities look good.
Villa goes downhill. Everything is broken and they are extremely short-circuited. Very expensive for what you get. The bowling alley is in bad condition. Poor security. They are very cheap on many things like new years party; the screen was a desk TV and there was hardly any DJ. The rooms can sometimes be discussed, especially the cutlery, plates, bowls, etc. Water has no healthy taste. Bingo boards fall apart what makes it difficult to play. There is no communication. We stayed easy and the fire alarm went in the middle of the night in new years day. Everyone was in a state of shock and was confused about what was too prone. The shielding is very bad at safety and how to evacuate. Luckily it was a false alarm, but we had to call and find out. It was extremely sad that no one came here to tell us that it was a false alarm, but they were able to bring the bills to every door an hour later. It seems like everything that matters to them is money. I wouldn't recommend going if you wanted to cheat.
It was record low temperature at Christmas weekend. The hotel has many seasonal activities. Check-in was very easy but our room is very outdated and cold. Called front desk for extra blankets and was provided. There is many things to do for family with small children at the resort. The food is always good at Villa Roma.
