Contribuiți la feedbackIt seems a humble place but the strength is hidden: its food is absolutely from Cartagena and from its deepest tradition. Try the pork ribs and the shrimps
The food is very good and is reasonably priced. Over the years I see consistency in the quality of the food and in the service. All meals come with a complimentary fish soup.
I didn't expect this place to be so great. It was. We liked it so much that we came here twice during a three days vacation in the city. They have a lot of fresh seafood dishes which we really liked, good service (although in...one of the times we was there it took them forever to serve us), and fantastic drinks (we loved the coconut lemonade). The back room is especially nice. They are very popular at lunchtime (one time we were there we sat in the area that is not airconditioned because they were running out of tables). They even have a special deal if you come there on your birthday.
The decor set an amazing ambiance and the service was good. Unfortunately though we were underwhelmed by the food at this restaurant. We ordered the fish of the day and the mixed seafood rice. The dishes were okay but seemed to be under seasoned. Given...the reviews and other restaurants we had eaten in in the city, we were hoping for more. On the plus side the drinks were wonderful so if you're looking for a place to stop and have a drink we'd recommend this place.
