Cafe La Mancha - Calle Blancos

To start off, I want to preface this review by saying that I have tried coffee from all around the world. It is one of the main reasons I travel. This coffee spot definitely ranks at the top of my list! If you're looking for an authentic Costa Rican coffee experience, then this is the place to be. The owner, Alberto, sources his beans directly from the farmers and roasts them himself. The freshness of the coffee and the quality of the beans from the Tarrazú region truly shine through. The coffee is expertly roasted to bring out all the best flavors. Most of Costa Rica's coffee is exported, making it difficult to find a truly local coffee shop. La Mancha offers a variety of brewing methods and even allows customers to take a bag of coffee home. The location is central yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, with plenty of seating, good music, and friendly, attentive staff. I could go on, but you simply have to experience it for yourself. I am not affiliated with La Mancha, I live in the USA and just happened to stumble upon this gem while on vacation. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

The dining experience at this restaurant is excellent! The coffee is impressive and the menu is well curated and appealing. Customers will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is charming and cozy.

This charming little café in the heart of San Jose provides a peaceful escape from the busy city streets. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with the owner and learning about the coffee-making process. He took his time to craft a delicious cup of Vandola brewed coffee, which I must say was the best I've ever had. Paired with some freshly baked carrot cake and lemon cake, the whole experience was the perfect ending to our trip to Costa Rica.

The cappuccino crema irlandesa is the best I ever had. every time I go to san jose, I have to drink my special cappuccino, the place is so beautiful.
