Keepin' It Simple Kampfire Kettle

This is a great breakfast/brunch eatery. The menu isn't printed. This is a great little mom and pop joint. Eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, hashbrowns and toast for the breakfast foods, but I'll bet if you wanted a burger and fries for breakfast they would be happy to make it. I have only had breakfast. Yesterday was eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast. Today I had pancakes and sausage. Plenty of good food at a great price. Will I eat here again? Why, yes! Tomorrow morn as a matter of fact! Good little joint for a small sleepy town!

Formerly known at the White River Cafe (I think), I believe it was sold and the new owners renamed the place. The fishing boat is still on the wall, but a few new pictures of John Wayne! The server was really friendly, seems to know her regulars by their name and what they want to eat. Coffee was hot, and the food was too. I had the pancake breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 slices of bacon, $8. And the food was delicious!! Came back the next day and had just pancakes and sausage and again it was delicious! I'll be back next time!

We had a very pleasant visit here for a Sunday lunch. Kettle Burger and Home fries were excellent! I got the hot fudge/peanut butter chip pie and it was served warm. My hubby got a lemon silk pie. Both were delicious! The owners were so funny and friendly!
