This is the best hidden gem in Liguria. The food is amazing but when you add in the setting it is a truly stunning experience. The food is delicious, presented innovatively. Cosimo and his family cannot do enough to ensure you have a wonderful experience, even down to providing shawls in case you become a bit chilly at night. After our meal we enjoyed coffee by a fire pit lit specially for us while gazing at the stars. I would definitely recommend Intatto for a romantic meal or to celebrate a special occasion.

A beautifully served, imaginative and delicious tasting menu in a magnificent setting in the Val di Vara hills. The table was laid very prettily under a canopy in their field. The owner and his sister and brother in law made the whole experience fantastic. As it was April we ate at lunchtime outdoors, but I would love to sample a candlelit dinner there in summer, and I'm sure we will. It really is worth making the effort to find it.
