Platillos Voladores - Cali

Beautiful small terrace in an otherwise unspectacular neighborhood. Prepared, good food. Beautiful and relaxed atmosphere! Will be my first stop on my next trip to Cali.

We have read that it is the best restaurant in cali, so it had a lot to live. it is a little hidden and out of the beaten away near a large shopping center. garden area with fairy light everywhere was really cozy and welcoming. strong cocktails. always start a plus! the whip was delicious and fresh. we had a bark dish for the main thing and it was actually underwhelming, but not terrible. the reason why I gave only 4 stars, the service staff seemed to be sick. we ordered a bottle of wine and the server could not open it and it took 3 people to open it. they were very eager to clarify how many times they would come to take away (almost) empty tellers or glasses without asking if we were done and we would have to scream after them to bring it back. total atmosphere 5 stars, eat 4 stars, service 3 stars.

We were looking for a great place to celebrate our parent’s anniversary and this restaurant was at the top of many lists. One reviewer said it was “the best restaurant in Cali...” this was not hyperbole. We were a large group and reserved a table...at the restaurant in the north (there are two locations, this is close to the Centenario Mall in a safe area of Cali. You enter thorough a garden where there is outdoor seating. Inside they have rooms, like a home, with creative decorations and lots of natural light. The food was as good as we had anticipated and everything we ate, from the rounds of crevice, fish-based main courses, through to dessert, was sublime. An excellent choice for a special occasion. One note they have a lunch and dinner seating, but close in between.

Best food in Cali..probably in Colombia. We always eat here when we are in Cali. La mejor comida en Cali...probablemente in Colombia. Comemos aqui cuando estamos en Cali.

Awesome flavors, Awesome environment, Awesome service. I'm not just talking or advertising or anything like that. I just think is one of those places that takes out of you a WOW. Congratulations to Platillos for keep this great quality through years. If you visit, just...feel free to try anything, it's all delicious.
