Sonic Drive-in - Calhoun City

I have been to many Sonic but this one on Calhoun city was slow took them over 30 minutes to do my order with only one person ahead of me would not recommend going here and then my food was not hot just warm Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food was below expectations, earning a low rating of 1 out of 5, and though the service was a bit better, it still only garnered a 2. The atmosphere left much to be desired, with a rating of just 1. The only bright spot was the Beef Hot Dog, which I would recommend. However, given the overall experience, I can’t say I’d recommend this place for brunch.

I feel about this restaurant the same way I do about Walmart in Houston. The staff can be rude and often rush you when they’ve made errors with your order. Additionally, most of the food I’ve gotten here has been burnt, dry, or stale for a while now. Overall, my experiences have been terrible. The food has the potential to be great; it just seems like there isn’t proper management in place. Service: Takeout.

I ordered takeout for lunch and found it to be a satisfying experience. The food received a solid rating of 4 out of 5; I particularly enjoyed the burger, which I highly recommend. The service was decent, earning a 3 out of 5, but it wasn't anything too memorable. The atmosphere of the place was enjoyable, scoring a 4 out of 5. Overall, for a price range of $10 to $20 per person, I’d say this spot is worth a visit if you're in the mood for a good burger!

This new Sonic opened in the fall of 2017, and it's located in a brand new building, so everything is fresh and inviting. The parking lot is newly paved as well, ensuring you won’t have to deal with any potholes. The service was quick and friendly; it was so good that I even tipped my car hop. You can pay at the stall using a card if you prefer. I ordered a hot dog, onion rings, and a Dr. Pepper, and I really enjoyed my lunch. I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m passing through. There used to be a Sonic on the other side of the highway, but it was torn down for some reason years ago. Thankfully, Calhoun City now has a Sonic back in town!
