Wow Chicken Kensington - Calgary

I stopped by for a quick lunch during a business trip and decided to try the King Katsu. I was thoroughly impressed! It was fresh, made to order, and fried to perfection, featuring a delightful golden crunch while remaining juicy on the inside. The sauce that came with it was a perfect match. The serving size was generous, and it kept me satisfied throughout the day. I am looking forward to sampling their chicken on my next visit!

I visited the restaurant twice last week, and I'm already a huge fan of the bulgogi fries and honey garlic chicken! They are consistently tasty, even when you reheat the leftovers at home.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I usually go for the thigh meal, which costs about $14. Their bulgogi fries are also amazing. The restaurant has a Wow Bakery on one side and the dining area on the other. There's outdoor seating available as well. I typically call in my order, and my food is ready in no more than 20 minutes.

The fried chicken at this place is exceptional, and the lunch combos provide excellent value. While the service is usually quick, remember that this isn’t a fast-food spot, so you should be prepared to wait a bit for your chicken to be freshly cooked. Indoor seating is somewhat limited, but there is a nice patio area that we share with the WOW bakery next door. There’s ample parking available, although you might not get a spot right in front of the restaurant. Service can fluctuate, but during our latest visit, it was outstanding.

I give this restaurant a perfect 5 out of 5; it’s a must-try! While the seating area is on the smaller side—there were only two other families dining when we visited—remember that this isn't a fast food place, so be prepared for a slightly longer wait for your food. However, that's a small price to pay for freshly made meals, and I'm more than happy to wait. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. We've definitely found our new favorite spot for fried chicken!
