Wayback Burgers - Calgary

I was in the area and thought I should support the local burger joint rather then going to one of the bigger chains such as BarBurrito, Edo, etc.. Unfortunately these burgers are mediocre at best. $22 for what’s in the photos plus a vitamin water. At this price point you would expect to be getting something that will blow you away but instead it barely compares to a meal at A&W. Pros: Great People Customer Service Nice Atmosphere Quality ingredients Cons: Zero flavour Cheese not melted Onion rings are doughy and have no crunch Had to ask for condiments to go It feels like this place spent their entire budget on design and marketing rather then focusing on the most important part The burgers. If you want a burger that will keep your tastebuds wanting more check out Class Clown, IYYCBURG, or Little Empire. This place is not worth it.

What aren’t more people talking about this place?!? The food is amazing. Burger yum! I had a small burger and bacon cheese fries. It was ridiculous that I thought I could eat but they were both sooo delicious! You need to try this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Beef burger was tasty, although my partner found out she got a raw chicken burger from chewing it in her mouth and realizing the texture wasn't right. Didn't feel like eating the replacement, she already felt sick, didn't get a refund either. Good job Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
