I ordered the chicken strips and fries with a beer and it was perfect before playing flames! If you are looking for a fast place in front of a game or want to see the game at a bar, don't look further.
I've never had a falafel pizza, but I've had something for a credible experience. To the next time I'm here. Sweet and hearty, crispy thin crust with tasteful beats that were fresh and tasty. The server was also a jewel. The restaurant had another table in it at the time and it was just before two. The server went ahead and asked their manager whether we were happy hourly prices 15 minutes ago 2:00 was acceptable and he agreed! That was so beautiful because it saved us some money, we starved and really wanted to eat after a long day in the zoo, and it was just the sweetest consideration. Five out of five stars!
I don't usually write reviews but last night I was in Vagabond before the Flames game against the Oilers. I used to be a server and have nothing but respect for our waitress last night. We came in as a group of 40-50 and continued to move around after placing orders and Isabella managed to find us without any problems to deliver drinks and food. She was organized, calm and on top of everything in a shift that I know I would have probably started crying during. I highly recommend this restaurant for a place to go before flames games.
Very huge auditorium with good ventilation, next to Steven ave, where in summer there baskers, music and international foods.
Nice close restaurant to the Saddledome, basically kitty corner to the NE parking lot. Place was busy on game night, but waitresses were able to find us some spots to sit together. Food was quite good. We ordered some personal pizzas and a beef dip. Pizzas were quite hearty and beef dip was tasty. We'll definitely go there again before a game.
