Tacos Mexico - Calgary

The food was excellent and since I was there during the pandemic, the care they needed to make everyone safe was amazing.

Terrible service! very good. avoid going to this, there are better Mexican restaurants in the city! we went on a busy Saturday night and we expect this to be busy, but not expected to get a submission from the waitress that I also believe was the owner. we waited almost an hour to get in because they don't make a reservation I expected. we finally have our table and waited for mins and no service because they are really busy what I totally understand. I finally got this waitress/owners attention and said we are ready to order instead of taking our order, she turns around and submit to us how busy they are and even she takes my order now the kitchen is busy and eating will take a while to come and go on to serve the others tables. I was polite, but I feel like I was hit on my face! we ordered our food anyway, but we were really upset by the waiter. at the end we didn't give any tips and she didn't even say thank you. they believe they have had enough business and not everyone is welcome. Generally, this is a very badly run restaurant and they are not the only Mexican restaurant in calgary plus their eating is simply so and it is not necessary to go to this.

Her service is very slow, but the food was good and the servings are very good for sharing and worth money. they make good margaritas, as this is one of their famous drinks. most server are friendly, especially the owner. but you have to wait for them to check you out how it sometimes takes until they come to you if you need anything. the place is always overcrowded and they do not accept any reservation, so it is better that they come early, otherwise they have to wait outside to be called as there is hardly any space in the inner to wait. in my experience it is better to go there the lunch time than the dinner time, as it takes longer waiting time for her to eat during dinner, as we went there for a few times. the bathroom is sometimes not clean and sometimes no handseife. when they order their tacos, make sure they separate them as they all together in a teller. her churros photo is different than what they serve and for me it is very sweet and not the typical churros where they immerse them in kakao.

Not since we were in mexiko, we had such a meal. it is the closest to an authentic Mexican meal I found. great atmosphere, friendly staff, great service. the portions are large and all ingredients were fresh and tasteful. The fried beans that came in with the combinacion mexicana were the best I ever tasted from far. everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. a must if they like Mexican food and more if they don't.

Wow! It's been a long time since we've been in a good Mexican restaurant. This one wasn't good It was absolutely great! The food and service were tops. The restaurant is on the small side but crowded with people. That's a good thing. We...need to visit Calgary more often.
