Symons Roadhouse - Calgary

We had a great time tonight. Our sever Kate was super friendly and accommodating to our young rowdy kids. The food and ambiance of the restaurant was great! So much better then going to a typical family restaurant like BP's. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

The restaurant was extremely cold despite being told the heat was on maximum. It could benefit from installing ceiling fans to help distribute warmth more effectively.

I have found the best brisket in this city at Symons Valley Road House. The chef clearly takes pride in every dish served. Why spend the same amount at an overpriced, disappointing restaurant like Earls or Joeys for a nice night out when Symons Valley Road House is an option? Give it a try, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. It's a true gem in the suburbs that you must experience!

Amazing country comfort food like crispy chicken, ribeye steak, jambalaya, and of course, poutine. Make sure to save room for the delicious sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The casual, welcoming western atmosphere is perfect for gathering with family and friends.

I had dined here in the past, and I good memories, so I did not hesitate recommending this restaurant for our Saturday Brunch. I am sorry to say, I was gravely disappointed and embarrassed that I chose this spot. The service was beyond poor, and the food was mediocre. I was also very surprised at the lack of other diners at lunch time. Due to the extremely poor service, I will not be going back.
