Subway Calgary

The food served here was mediocre and fresh food with different types of serving bread. It was relatively quick but deserves no extra credit.

We went to Subway and the $6 12" is a great deal! I tried the veggie and WOW! It had flavour and was really good. Usually they have no flavour. Impressive. My boy had a breakfast sub and again, really flavourful! We will be back. Hope they keep the $6 special as a regular price. So great for families!

For the hot pull on the road, a delicious steak and cheese, made to choice and then squeezed with by-bev sla, cucumber, onion, pepper and a nice sauce.

Unfortunate that Subway is everywhere in Canada. I have no vested in Mr Sub, outside of when I want a tasty sandwich, Subway's are everywhere. It's like settling..."well it's there, I'm in a hurry". It starts with the bread, no matter how fresh, it's way too heavy. The quality of ingredients is very low, look closely at those veggie options. It is not fresh.My biggest issue is we're force-fed Subway's on every block, yet the quality is so low but we've come to treat it as the norm.If we had Vietnamese sub shops, Kebab shops and Mr Sub in place of Subway's, we would have fast options that aren't 2 hours of fresh away from a dumpster.Perhaps someday Tim Horton and Mr. Sub will pair up and we can get away from the diabolical chain that is Subway.Perchance to dream.

This subway is similar to all of the other ones that I've visited over the years although its part of a food court. The service was efficient and the sandwich was made fresh with all of the toppings that I requested. If you're looking for a quick meal before or after a flight this is the place to check out as there is not a lot of option in that terminal for other restaurants.
