Second Cup Coffee Co. - Calgary

This is my must stop place when ever I pass through Calgary. This time I was on my way home to Medicine Hat from Banff. It is canadian, so I tend to support them fully. I enjoy their muffins and date squares. I usually only drink brewed coffee. But their Paradiso medium blend is the best! Friendly staff, always a smile on their faces.

Better than average baked goods. The baked goods and other food at most coffee shops does not impress me and I avoid it the best I can, however Second Cup actually has some yummy items. I absolutely love the cheese croissants, cheese sticks AND cheese buns. I have never had the cheesecake or other sweet things, but they do look yummy. My favorite drinks are definitely the Frozzzzzen Hot Chocolate the Chunky Monkey (Frozzzzzen Hot Chocolate with banana flavoring) but Italian Sodas are also up there on my list. I have never had their coffee as I don't drink coffee, but the smell is incredible.
