Savour - Calgary

NEW OWNERS! The new owners are lovely and very friendly. Sounds like they are looking to make improvements including extending their hours and hosting live music. They serve Fratello coffee and have delicious baked goods! I look forward to seeing the new and upcoming changes at Savour!

The coffee at Savour is some of the best I've had anywhere in the world, I'm surprised it's not busier.  If coffee is your thing this is a place not to miss.

Best Caramel Latte I've ever had anywhere. Every city, and country I visit, I try the caramel latte at a local coffee shop, and Savour has the best one I've ever had. The caramel flavour is mild and the latte texture is smooth. The espresso has a soft, clean finish, and the drink has just the right amount of sweetness (not drowned in syrup). I come here almost every day. The owner and staff are very friendly, always smiling and I often have the drink to stay because it's really relaxing people-watching on 4th street (I've always received my stay-drink in a proper coffee mug). The cafe store IS clean and SMELLS clean (which is more than I can say for Purple Perk). It is spacious and has modern, urban decor and I'll be honest, the cleanliness helps me relax. I tried the vanilla almond pastry which is addictive (have it warm) and the sweet cheese danish is also excellent. With this place, they do a few things and they do them right. Highly Recommended.

Cute. Nice. Quite. Cute. I thought the drinks were a little but pricey but the coconut chia iced latte was very good, not quite worth 5.25 though. The service was good, but that should be expected when there is only one other costumer in the whole joint. Good study spot :

Decent coffee shop. I've been to Savour a few times to work. It's fairly quiet (though adding some pads under the metal chairs would be a nice touch) and Fratello coffee is the best. This place is much less pretentious and less packed (in a good way) than Analog, which also serves Fratello. <br/ <br/ I will agree that it's weird that they constantly mop/vacuum around you. I get it if it's 5 minutes to close and you're trying to signal it's time for folks to leave, but in the middle of the afternoon it's odd. One time an employee even got my shoe with the mop. Ick.
