Papa John's Pizza - Calgary

After a tough Friday night I found myself at Papa John's ordering the Meats Pizza special for $14It was a decent Pizza, much better than Pizza 73.

AtrociousPossible the most expensive mainstream pizza I have ever ordered, next to no cheese or meat.

The thin crust tastes and looks like soda crackers and it arrived cold. Not a good first impression!

We picked up supper from there before the football game. Went in and ordered so waited which was no problem. Friendly staff and pizza was good.

While staying at the Aloft Hotel...which is literally right behind the pizza place, we tried to order a late night pizza. It was a painful experience dealing with this woman on the phone. Not an exaggeration at all...but it took longer to actually order the pizza and explain to the woman where we were located than it did to actually receive the pizza! I would suggest to whomever owns this location that they hire someone who actually speaks English better than this woman did to take the incoming orders. I was so close to just cancelling the whole thing until she finally gave up and handed the phone to the delivery driver. He knew within 10 seconds where we were...as I said, RIGHT BEHIND HIS BUILDING...and he made the delivery. At that point, was the pizza any good? Average at best...but on the plus side, it was blazing hot due to the short delivery! Haha.
