Moxie's Grill & Bar - Calgary

It was a Saturday night and the lounge was practically empty which was a rarity but it was a summer evening.

Took my mother in law for lunch and it was very niceHadn't been to a moxies in a while but it was really good.

The second Monday has my group of professional Photographers invading this Moxie's location. We have been doing this for a few years now. Always arrive late in the evening as a boisterous and fun group.The staff always welcomes us with open arms, finding space for our changing group size. The waitresses looking after our table are amazing, despite the late hour, they are fun, smiling, efficient and helpful. Doing whatever they can to accommodate our groups needs. The food is a taste delight. after exploring the menu many times, I don't think there is an item we have not tried, we have not found anything to be a disappointment. It is not just well cooked and tasty, it always arrives looking fantastic. For photographers, this is nearly as important as the food. My personal favourite is the beef dip. Last night I shared the lettuce wrap and salt and pepper wings. Our group actually cleaned out their wings, Not a surprise I suppose, it was wings night. Last night the Manager Roy was also helping out. He is one of the most cheerful and accommodating Restaurant managers I have encountered, which should be notable since I travel a lot. I noticed the booths with just couples in was getting the same top shelf service we got, It appears to be as standard.

Visited this Moxies location because it was right in our hotel. Food was amazing - highly recommend the Ginger Teriyaki Rice Bowl! Husband had the Turkey Club. Kids meals were great too! Great service as well!

Service at this location was fantastic. I can't say enough of the service we received the other night. Must be the manager on duty, (blond hair) and very friendly, she made sure that my wife's meal was not to spicy for here as the waitress made sure the sauce was on the side. What a great touch the they worked so closely together unlike a lot of other places that only give lip service. Our meals were fantastic, and I would recommend the chicken enchilada as it was very good.
