Mio Stone Grill & Sushi - Calgary

A really cozy and homey place. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. Super service, both ladies who served us were amazing. We had a great dinner for our daughter's birthday. Kids got chocolate in the end which was a pleasant surprise. Big thanks to the stuff! Will definitely be going back.

Just ordered a party tray, tempora udon, and chicken katsu. To be honest, the food was very disappointing considering we spent quite a bit of money.1) the chicken katsu did not come with rice, miso soup, and salad like all other Japanese cuisine spots.2) the udon portion was VERY small.3) the sushi quality was not the greatest and the taste was disappointing.

Walked in and thought the place was aesthetically pleasing.Service was terrible, food took about an hour, and at the time the restaurant was under 1/3rd full, furthermore the server didn't refill my drink until about the one hour mark when our food came out.The food itself was good and presented well, but the service was terrible, I do not recommend and would not come back.There is another sushi shop a few min away where the food is just as good and they will deliver good service.

I've been there for years! always best sushi I'm airdrie. we have a family member who regularly goes to japan and he thought it was a part of the best sushi he had!

If they have to eat in the airdrie area at mio’s! the sushi, amazing! they should die. the service and the atmosphere are impeccable! I'd eat here every day if I could. I wish I had lived in the opposite to be a rule. no calgary and area trip will be completed without stopping at mio’s!
