Contribuiți la feedbackI have been to Hong Chou many many times, ordered in and picked up as well. Their food is not the best in the city nor is it consistent, but it is always pretty good. It can be pretty spectacular if you get it on the right day!<br/ <br/ Their portions are generous and I have always found the people there to be very friendly.<br/ <br/ <br/ I've uploaded the menu which hopefully they will post but as for cost, a typical 4 dish order is around $50.00 for pick up. For instance I ordered:<br/ <br/ Cashew Nut Gai Ding, Beef with mixed vegetables, Beef Fried rice, Spring Rolls and a single order of steamed rice and it was around $47.00 and change.
Been going to Hong Chou Inn for 38 years. They are honestly one of the best Chinese food restaurants around. I have tried other places, but the food does not compare to the delicious taste you get at Hong Chou Inn, The quantities are also enormous and well worth the price, which is very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and the best service. Thanks!
First time customer delivery. Menu prices were higher than on here, but understandably, all main dishes were about $12.00....fairly fast delivery, food was nice and hot. We ordered Palace Style Chicken, Shanghai Spicy Noodles, Pan Fried Dumplings and an order of two Spring Rolls. For once I could taste the spice on the noodles (which is not the case at most restaurants , Chicken was almost entirely white meat and was MOSTLY meat as the coating was light. My friend likes dumplings, I only had one, and he ate a lot of them as they were good. Spring rolls were not too greasy. Overall a really good meal and we will order again! Thanks Hongchou Inn for the nice dinner :
I've been coming here since I was 8 years old, (30 years) it's by far the best Chinese food in calgary and the best I've had anywhere, very fresh ingredients and very we'll prepared. I come from the far southwest and don't mind the drive, excellent service, the best ginger by far
Honestly the best Chinese food in the entire city. Have been coming here for years and even after a move we continue to drive the distance for there Chinese food. Have to try the salt pepper squid (to die for)
