We ordered from UberEats and I wasn't sure what to expect as I am new to Calgary and only took a guess, but boy was I pleasantly surprised! The food arrived quickly, was very hot, and well packed with no spills. The rice was soft, fluffy, and flavorful. We tried the saffron rice and coconut rice, both of which tasted fresh and had a distinct coconut flavor that we all loved. The naan was chewy and delicious. The lamb korma had big chunks of lamb and a perfectly spiced sauce. My lamb vindaloo was even better, although I may be biased as it was my choice. We couldn't stop eating! The portions were generous and we were all stuffed, but still had leftovers. The Tandoori chicken was a hit with my husband as he cleared his plate. We all enjoyed our meal and didn't leave any room for dessert, but I heard it was excellent. Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of the food and will definitely be ordering from here again.
This restaurant is located in a small strip mall with tiny shops and a lively pub. It may not look like much from the outside, but the portions are large and the food is excellent. The menu offers a fusion of Indian dishes from different regions, with the Hakka-Indo noodles being particularly spicy and delicious. The restaurant can get busy, so seating is limited.
We picked up on Friday evening dinner, not sure what to expect from this little restaurant. we were amazed, that was delicious. a real tasty bite. good work guru.
I though I would try this restaurant since it had some good reviews and was close to where I lived. I ordered pretty standard dish for Indian- butter chicken with an order of rice and naan. I could tell the chicken wasn’t fresh. It was...actually the chicken they use for their tandoori chicken with just a bunch of butter chicken thrown on top. Also the chicken was very dry. The rice was also undercooked and crunchy. The naan itself was overcooked and crispy and brown. You could taste that it was burnt. I thought this was just a bad night so I tried them on a separate occasion. Same result with the food. Not sure how they got such good reviews. Don’t waste your money.
