Golden Island Chinese Jīn Dǎo Cháo Zhōu Cài Guǎn

Great Chaozhou cuisine (eastern part of Guangdong province in China)! It's a small mom and pop Chinese restaurant right on the Trans-Canadian Highway 1. They definitely have a loyal customer base given them the owner recognizes many of their patrons. Plus, they have a normal flow of takeouts even on a Wednesday evening! The food was great too! Not too oily/greasy, nor salty. Vegetarian options are available. Large portions. Decent decor. Limited parking in shared parking lot to the East.

Soooo good, original Chaoshan cuisine. Manager is super nice, the food is orginal Chaoshan style, it is not something you can find in general Cantonese restaurant. Additionally, the size of food is pretty large and the price is so reasonable. The manager also gave us free us and dessert. The dessert is amazing, original Cantonese 'Tangshui '. Will definitely come back.
