Fusion Sushi - Calgary

I personally like my food to be prepared with care and attention to taste. Unfortunately, the Udon broth had little flavor and the Yam roll tasted off. The service was also lacking, with staff seeming disinterested. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

The Tordash and Tuna sashimi we ordered had a foul odor and a yellowish brown liquid oozing out of all pieces. It was clear that the fish was not fresh and the chef still served it, putting the health of customers at risk. The Pad Thai was stale, dry, and lacked flavor, with only three small pieces of broccoli. The beef ribs were tough and tasted like they had been reheated multiple times. We recommend that the health department inspect this restaurant for its poor food safety practices.

I have been coming to this restaurant for a while now, simply because the location is convenient for me. However, in all the years it has been open, I have never experienced good service here. It seems like the servers are either overworked or poorly trained. The food is just average at best. If possible, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and instead trying the fusion place in Chinatown. The food quality is better there and the service is always excellent. They even have Takoyaki on their all-you-can-eat menu! If you do decide to eat at this restaurant, be prepared to wait a long time for your food, wonder if your order has been forgotten, have minimal interaction with your server, wait a ridiculous amount of time for the bill, and witness unprofessional disputes between servers and customers. As soon as a better option becomes available in the area, I will definitely stop coming here altogether, even if it means making the extra trip to Chinatown.

Enjoyed the food until I had to get up for a bath break. An employee was in the men's room who finished his business and then went out of the men's room quickly without washing his hands. I returned to the table and eat nothing of this point. Also could not stop thinking about what I had already eaten that was supplied by staff who violated the most basic rule of food service. Never again! This is the worst thing you can experience in a restaurant.

This place is awful. Crappy service, flavourless food, most of the time the people bringing the food to the table had no clue what it was. Took a long time to get the food and they brought everything except the rice. There are lots of...great places to get sushi and Thai food here in Calgary this isn’t one of them.
