Fatburger - Bankers Hall - Calgary

Had the chicken sandwich. 9 bucks is a little pricey for a chicken sandwich. It was ok in the taste department. Their burgers are also very expensive. 15 dollars for a burger, come in guys.

I found this deal on Groupon for a Cheddar Burger with fries and a drink for $9 so of course I would try it out. I can appreciate the fact that everything is cooked to order and that it of course would take long to properly cook a raw burger. However, having worked in a gourmet burger restaurant myself, it'd be wise to have a few burgers on the grill during your lunch rush. I wasn't time pressed so the wait didn't bother me too much, but I could imagine the wait time deterring some people with short lunch breaks. The service was great, they have a good team working together. The burger was just an average, greasy burger; nothing too exciting about it. The menu prices are a bit overwhelming but I guess it being Downtown Calgary, nothing is cheap.
